The shop has become a community leader and has won "Best Florist" honours for the past eight years in a row in the annual "People's Choice" Awards.

Edithe has a strong background in legal bookkeeping and also runs an apple orchard in East Kelowna with her husband Dave.

Patti has five children: Martin, 22; Nikki, 20; Curtis, 11; Sarah, 9; and three-year-old Tommy. The children give her plenty to keep busy in her "spare time"!

Both mother and daughter have always said that if they ever stopped loving what they're doing, they'd leave the flower business behind. Well, they're both still here and loving it every day!

Over the years the business has prospered and grown, and so has their "family" of employees. Creations by Mom&Me currently has twenty-five wonderful people on staff, and the number is still growing.

Even though "Mom&Me" continues to progress, the business still maintains a "small-town" attitude. Every client is treated with respect, a smile, and genuine friendly courtesy. Customer service is an equal priority to the quality of workmanship that goes into the flower store's colourful products.

Edithe and Patti credit most of the company's success to their extraordinary employees. Each individual has his or her unique qualities, talents and tastes. And as a whole this Team is prepared to handle any challenge.

Both principal partners are very involved in the Floral Industry, and Patti is a Regional Director for the national organization, Flowers Canada.

The shop is a big community supporter and regularly donates goods and services to help non-profit organizations, church groups of all denominations, as well as the Cancer Society and many others.
